Privacy Policy

Your work stays under your control.

This policy explains what Converge processes, where information goes, and the choices available to you.

Effective September 23, 2026

1. Overview

Converge is an iPhone and iPad app for comparing responses from multiple artificial-intelligence providers. Converge does not require you to create a developer-operated account, does not contain advertising, and does not use your information for cross-app tracking.

Conversations, settings, and attachments are stored on your device by default. Information leaves your device only when needed for a feature you choose, such as sending a request to an AI provider, checking a subscription, or enabling iCloud sync.

2. Information Converge processes

Conversation and attachment content

This can include prompts, model responses, conversation titles and settings, and images or PDF documents you attach. The app stores this content locally. When you send a request, the necessary content is transmitted to the AI provider and model you selected.

Provider credentials

API keys that you enter are stored using Apple Keychain. Converge uses a key only to authenticate requests to the provider it belongs to. The developer does not receive a copy of your provider keys. If you enable optional iCloud sync, Converge may also place synchronizable copies of provider keys in iCloud Keychain.

Optional iCloud data

If you enable iCloud sync, Apple CloudKit may store conversations, settings, model configuration, and attachments in your private iCloud database. This data is associated with your Apple Account and is governed by Apple’s terms and privacy practices.

Subscription information

Apple processes App Store purchases. Converge uses RevenueCat to retrieve products and maintain subscription entitlement status. RevenueCat may process a pseudonymous app-user identifier, product and purchase information, entitlement status, and limited device or diagnostic information needed to provide subscription services.

Support communications

If you email support, the developer receives your email address and the information you choose to include. Do not send passwords, API keys, or sensitive conversation content.

3. How information is used

Information is processed only as needed to:

  • send your requests to the AI providers and models you select;
  • display, save, organize, and optionally synchronize conversations;
  • import and process compatible images and PDF attachments;
  • verify purchases, restore purchases, and determine subscription access;
  • protect credentials using Apple Keychain; and
  • respond to support requests and troubleshoot problems you report.

Converge does not sell personal information and does not use it for behavioral advertising or cross-app tracking.

4. Services that may receive information

Depending on the features and providers you choose, information may be processed by:

  • Apple, for App Store purchases, iCloud, CloudKit, iCloud Keychain, and operating-system services;
  • RevenueCat, for subscription products and entitlement status; and
  • your selected AI provider, which may include OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, xAI, OpenRouter, or Eden AI.

Each AI provider operates under its own terms, retention rules, and privacy policy. Your provider account settings may also affect whether a provider stores or uses request content. Review the policy and settings for each provider before sending sensitive information.

The developer does not operate a separate server that receives copies of your conversations or provider API keys.

5. Retention and deletion

Local conversations and attachments remain on your device until you delete them, delete all conversations from App Settings, or remove the app and its local data. If iCloud sync is active, deletions made in Converge are designed to synchronize across your devices.

Turning off iCloud sync does not necessarily erase information that was already stored in your private iCloud account. You can manage Converge’s iCloud data through Apple’s iCloud controls. AI providers, Apple, and RevenueCat retain information according to their own policies and legal obligations.

Support emails are retained only as reasonably needed to answer the request, maintain a record of the resolution, and meet legal obligations.

6. Your choices

  • You decide which AI providers to configure and which model receives each request.
  • You can remove provider credentials from the app.
  • You can keep conversations only on your device or enable optional iCloud sync.
  • You can delete individual conversations or all conversations from App Settings.
  • You can avoid sending attachments or other sensitive content to AI providers.
  • You can manage or cancel subscriptions using your Apple Account.

7. Children

Converge is not directed to children under 13, and the developer does not knowingly collect personal information from children. AI providers and Apple may impose additional minimum-age requirements under their own terms.

8. Security

Converge uses platform protections including Apple Keychain for provider credentials and Apple’s private CloudKit and iCloud Keychain services when optional sync is enabled.

9. Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated as Converge’s features, providers, or legal requirements change. The effective date at the top of this page will be updated when material revisions are published.

10. Contact

For privacy questions or requests concerning information the developer controls, email converge.l.dev@gmail.com.

Requests about data held by Apple, RevenueCat, or an AI provider may need to be directed to that service.
